BayFOR
Bayerische Forschungsallianz (Bavarian Research Alliance) GmbH (BayFOR) is a non-profit private company and provides comprehensive advice and support to Bavarian stakeholders from science and industry in obtaining European funding for research, development and innovation with the aim of further developing Bavaria as a centre of science and innovation within the European Research Area. The focus is on the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon Europe. BayFOR has long term experience in managing, consulting, networking, and communicating EU projects.
The role in the project: BayFOR is the project management partner and contributes to the effective management of BIOARC. BayFOR also coordinates collaborations and clustering activities. It evaluates opportunities for cooperation, identifies overlaps, and initiates joint activities and workshops in which synergies are created regarding further funding opportunities.
